I visited the source for Jen’s foil and ordered some for future projects! It just so happens, you can get 1 yard for $3.50… I paid a whopping $4 for 1 foot before…whomp whomp. So, after flipping back through the tutorial I linked to up above, another one of Jen’s readers asked about the foil she used, since the reader said her Michaels foil was splotchy too. I loved it anyways – imperfections and all! I was so excited! It was a little splotchy, but decided once I put it behind glass in the frame, it wouldn’t be that noticeable. I nervously peeled it away (for the 2nd time) and thankfully IT WORKED!! This should open a new window, along with adding a toolbar to the display window, that you can later move into a position on the screen near all the toolbars at the top of the screen. When the blue ready light turned on, I began prepping my foil. I plugged in my laminator and let it warm up. The instructions I followed were clear as day, but for some reason I thought my printer used toner :/

I brought the printout home and then started again! Whoops! Lesson learned. Highlight the words you wish to make golden-colored. This word art is super easy to create and can jazz up your entry way, bedroom, or mantel. I’m also a sucker for quotes and strong words. There’s just something about glitter and glue that I LOVE. I’ve done quite a few glitter and bead word art projects in the past. I’m not exactly sure why I made more glitter word art…I love the stuff…maybe I miss 3rd grade art projects, or maybe I love glitter too much! For my part in the Christmas Printables Blog Hop, organized by Diana from The Girl Creative, I’ve decorated my home with more glitter word art! There are 15 other bloggers participating in this blog hop, and you’ll see links to those projects below….
